Glymur

Had such a great time last weekend! I decided to visit Hotel Glymur in Hvalfjörður (Whale Fjord). As a child we used to drive this fjord every time we went travelling north but now there have a tunnel that cuts the travelling time by hours, which is great but however you never go to this magical place anymore, so I thought I should do a blast from the past and check it out. It´s conveniently far from Reykjavík for a nice weekend getaway and I was curious to visit the hotel. Were cozy, homy feel, great view, local food and we got a private concert from the hotel manger that played the guitar beautifully.  We also visited some hidden local hot springs which was very relaxing and prepared me for going back to the studio Monday morning.  With regards to my wardrobe for this getaway, after trying on a few things, I went with a relaxed but kind of witchy looks as both the place itself and the hotel have an eccentric, magical feel.
